Collaring Ceremony

OPENING STATEMENT OF INTENT

Officiant cracks a whip/rings a bell to call attention

OFFICIANT:         Ladies and Gentlemen, both Distinguished and Perverse: we gather here tonight in this Dungeon to observe the collaring of ________________ and ________________.  Those who oppose this bond, can get the fuck out.  The ceremony begins now. 

THE GATHERING OF THE PARTICIPANTS

Officiant cracks a whip/rings a bell a second time

OFFICIANT:         Step forward those come to be bound here tonight.

Partner 1 and Partner 2 step forward to the Officiant.

OFFICIANT:         (turned to either participant)      Do you come forward tonight, unbound and unfettered, released or relinquished of former bonds that would impede or conflict this bond?

PARTICIPANT SPOKEN TO:            I am.

OFFICIANT:         (turning to the other participant) Do you come forward tonight, unbound and unfettered, released or relinquished of former bonds that would impede or conflict this bond?

PARTICIPANT SPOKEN TO:            I am.

OFFICIANT:         We may proceed. 

THE COLLARING CEREMONY RITE

OFFICIANT:         Who comes to be claimed?

Participant bows gently to the Officiant. 

PARTICIPANT:   I do.

OFFICIANT:         Who stands to take this Submissive as their own?

DOMINANT:       I do.

OFFICIANT:         (to the Submissive)         Present yourself to observe their dominance.

Submissive bows, kneels, prostrates self in front of Dominant.

OFFICIANT:         (to the Submissive)         What do you, SUBMISSIVE, bring as tribute to DOMINANT?

SUBMISSIVE:     I offer you my body, my mind, and my emotions. I offer you my pain and my pleasure, my passion, and my service. 

(Submissive may continue to offer their own tribute within reason)

OFFICIANT:         (to the Dominant)            What is it that you will give to SUBMISSIVE?

DOMINANT:       I will give my Presence, my Protection, my Consideration, and my Care.

(Dominant may continue to offer their own tribute within reason)

OFFICIANT:         (to the Dominant)            What do you bring to symbolize this Covenant?

DOMINANT:       I bring forth this collar.

OFFICIANT:         (to the Submissive)         Do you accept this symbol and in doing so, accept the bond that it offered?

SUBMISSIVE:     I do.

OFFICIANT:         (to the Dominant)            Place your Collar upon your Submissive.

[If a dual collaring is to take place; repeat collaring ceremony rite]

OFFICIANT:         The Community has bore witness to your commitment to one another.  May trust and communication, Good Faith, and Fairness be the four pillars of your bond.  Members of the Community, I present to you the collaring of __________________ and ____________________.  You may spank your Bottom.
